That’s exactly how we feel looking back at TwitchCon San Diego. It’s been a couple months since we packed up our booth, but we can’t stop thinking about all the incredible moments we shared (don’t worry, we’ve got the pics to prove it at the end of this post!).
Our second year as vendors wasn’t just another convention – it was a milestone that showed us exactly why we built StreamerCollabs in the first place.
We’ve been busy implementing everything we learned, but first, we wanted to share some of the moments that made this event so special.

You know that feeling when you finally meet your online gaming buddies in person?
That was basically our entire TwitchCon experience!
Our booth turned into this amazing meetup spot where StreamerCollabs members who’d been gaming together for months finally got to high-five in real life. The energy was unreal.
But something even cooler happened – our space became this chill hangout zone where people felt safe to just be themselves.
Between the high-energy moments of first meetings, we had streamers coming back throughout the day just to recharge, catch their breath, and escape the beautiful chaos of the convention floor for a bit.
Some brought their friends, others made new ones right there at our booth.
It became this perfect mix of exciting meetup and casual hangout – kind of like that our Discord server where you can pop in anytime and know you’ll find good vibes and friendly faces.
That’s exactly what StreamerCollabs is all about – not just networking, but building real connections in a space where everyone feels welcome. (You can spot some of these awesome moments in our photo gallery below!)
Here’s a funny thing – a few people came up to us saying, “Oh wait, you’re those people from the Reddit ads!”
Turns out, quite a few folks had seen us online but were hesitant to join because, let’s face it, the internet can be pretty sketchy.
But seeing us there as legitimate vendors, with a real booth and a team of actual gamers who get it? That changed everything.
The number of people who went from “This seems sus” to signing up on the spot was honestly heartwarming.
Nothing beats showing up in person to prove you’re the real deal!

We got so many suggestions that made us go “why didn’t we think of that?”

Between meeting eager streamers, we connected with some seriously cool vendors.
We’re not talking about companies that just stick RGB on everything – these are partners who really get what content creators need.
Without spoiling too much, let’s just say our streaming setup is about to get some pretty sweet upgrades.
Remember when finding a good gaming squad was like trying to beat a boss blindfolded? Those days are over!
Watching hundreds of solo streamers find their perfect collab partners at TwitchCon was like seeing the world’s most successful matchmaking service in action.
From hardcore competitive streamers to laid-back content creators, everyone was finding their tribe.
Here’s a story that still has us buzzing: This awesome creator signed up for our Unlimited plan right at our booth on day one.
Nothing makes you believe in what you’re building quite like watching someone’s face light up when they hit that “join” button.
But what happened next?
That same streamer literally sprinted back to our booth first thing on day two, practically glowing with excitement.
In less than 24 hours, they’d received over 20 connection requests from potential collab partners. Twenty.
In just one day!
“I’ve been trying to find good collab partners for months,” they told us, showing us their notifications.
“I got more connections in one day on StreamerCollabs than I have in the past year of networking!”
That’s exactly why we built this platform – to make those connections happen faster and more naturally than ever before.
You know what’s funny? Sometimes the simplest explanation is the best one.
During our second TwitchCon as vendors, we finally nailed it:

But the real magic happened during the platform walkthroughs.
Watching people’s faces light up as we showed them each feature – from the targeted search filters to find their perfect collab partners, to the straightforward messaging system, to the affiliate program that lets them earn while they grow – it was like watching people discover exactly what they’d been searching for all along.
“This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!” became the soundtrack of our booth.
Every time we demonstrated the platform, you could see that moment when it clicked – when they realized this wasn’t just another generic networking site, but something built specifically for streamers, by people who actually get it.
That understanding spread like wildfire across the convention.
Next thing we knew, people were bringing their friends back to our booth saying, “You gotta check these people out!”
Talk about a successful speed run!
TwitchCon 2024 wasn’t just another convention for us – it was a massive level up.
We’re already working on implementing many of the suggestions and feedback we received.
From the amazing feedback we got to the exciting new partnerships we formed, it was all amazing.
